Oppo’s RealMe1 entry variant launched at Rs 8,990.
Chinese smartphone giant Oppo has launched an online-only sub-brand to give bring in tough and healthy competition to the competitors, benefitting the entry-level smartphone buyers at large. RealMe1 has launched 2 variants on Amazon, the one with 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and other one is 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.
The RealMe1 comes with the world’s first 12nm AI CPU MediaTek Helio P60 together with AI Shot Technology and a huge 6GB RAM+128GB ROM storage version, offering the highest cost to value product in India. The expandible memory capability is up to 256GB. The 6.0” FHD+ Full Screen of Realme 1 is complemented by an “Art of Light” design in Diamond black, with exquisite details crafted for younger generation of users. Under the hood, Realme 1 may pack a 3,410mAh battery and run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
Realme 1 will be exclusively available from May 25, 12 noon on India’s largest marketplace, Amazon.in, with the 3GB RAM+32GB ROM version priced at Rs.8,990 and the 6GB RAM+128GB ROM version price at Rs.13,990 in Diamond Black and Solar Red. The third variant of Realme1 with 4GB RAM+64GB ROM, available in Moonlight Silver and Diamond Black priced at Rs.10,990 will go online for sale in June this year.
Realme 1 is expected to sport a 13MP primary camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and would come with a LED flash as well. Additionally, the primary camera is said to offer Bokeh mode. On the front, the phone will bear an 8MP sensor with facial recognition which will allow you to unlock the phone. Interestingly, the RealMe1 is one of the few phones to only have Face Unlock feature.
